Qualifications:

Martin is the Head of Centre and Duke of Edinburgh's Award manager for South Tyneside. He is a Duke of Edinburgh's Accredited Assessor, holds Single Pitch Award, Mountain Leader, Mountain Bike Leader (MBL + night ride leader) BCU Level 3 Sea Kayak Coach, BCU White Water Safety & Open Boat 4 Star Leader  (moderate water endorsement). RLSS Instructor for National Water Safety Management Programme, GNAS Archery Leader, RYA Powerboat and Personal Watercraft Instructor and holds a Mountain First Aid Certificate. Martin has a Sports Science degree and has attended BMC FUNdamentals & Learning to Train workshops. He is an approved CWMA Route Setter. Martin is an approved tutor and assessor for first aid awards including all the usual but also Catastrophic Bleed & Airway Management, Forestry, Outdoor First and Hostile Environment Trauma Care.  He is able to deliver OEAP EVC, group leader visit training and Outdoor Learning Card training also.
