From £130.00 per group*

This could be on man made mountain bike trails or road safety sessions giving young people the key skills to staying safe.  Cycling in the UK has taken off massively with more and more people using pedal power to get around.  That includes youngsters and we hope to educate pupils on staying safe, having fun and getting fit at the same time.  This could be working towards the Go MTB award which focusses on sharing the outdoors, bike skills, first aid and riding independently. It may be a one off session or a block of lessons which are tailored to meet your requirements but whatever you choose you'll being adding to the revolution (pardon the expression) that is British Cycling.

Package Includes

All bikes, high vis jackets, helmets and safety glasses.  A SMBLA qualified member of staff, staff safety equipment, risk assessments and insurance for the activity.  Transport can be arranged including the use of a bike trailer if required.  We can also come to your venue and work within the school grounds bringing skills course equipment to you.

Kit Needed

Often muddy, the group will need long sleeved top and bottoms as a minimum, shoes that you don't mind getting dirty and appropriate clothing for the conditions.  On some occaisions pupils will need to bring a change of clothes for immediately after riding. A plastic bag, a drink and maybe a snack.  For those with long hair in the group, they will need to be able to tie it back.

Health & Safety

All bikes and helmets are checked and serviced regularly and staff are able to carry out repairs if required on the move.  As MTB can be a fast sport, sometimes pupils can fall off their bikes, staff are experienced and position themselves so that group control is maintained minimising the chances of anyone coming off.
