These courses are about giving young people the confidence and skills to make a difference in an emergency situation.  These sessions cover casualty handling, treatment for shock, bleeding, CPR as well as some of the reasons why we might need these skills.  We try to build in scenario's which give a little taste of decision making under pressure when you've got to help.

Package Includes

The number of sessions that you do depends on what accreditation you are working towards.  It may be a British Heart Foundation Heartstart Award requiring only one half day session or a RLSS Life Support course which will generally be four half day sessions.

Kit Needed

There is no real need for any kit, just comfortable clothing that you don't mind being moved about in.  Skirts or dresses aren't appropriate so normal PE kit or long trousers is generally ok.
